SERVIQUIMIA COLLABORATES IN THE 4TH NATIONAL CONGRESS OF YOUNG RESEARCHERS IN POLYMERS (JIP 2008)

The 4th National Congress of Young Researchers in Polymers (JIP 2008) took place last 15th to 19th of June in Peñíscola (Castellón). This biannual congress is one of the most relevant appointments of the Spanish Community which works in polymers science and technology. The congress was sponsored by the Grupo Especializado de Polímeros (GEP) from the Real Sociedad Española de Física (RSEF) and from the Real Sociedad Española de Química (RSEQ).The main objective of the congress was to encourage, like in prior editions, the collaboration among young researchers who work in different research fields about polymeric materials and who belong to Spanish research groups, as well as to spread among the Spanish scientific community the last developments occurred in such an active area like the one of polymeric materials.
An objective of the congress was to create a forum where young researchers could practice in such an important area for a researcher like the one of preparing and transmitting in a professional way its scientific work by oral exposure. In this edition of the congress, like in prior editions, it was also expected to propose a series of plenary talks from relevant researchers, which could be an example and a motivation for the community of young researchers.
Serviquimia has actively collaborated in this edition, confirming once again its commitment with the education of future researchers.
